Rain, cool, 9-14deg
Wendy and the others left early for breakfast and to
register for the conference. I had a lovely eggs, bacon and coffee
breakfast next door at Henk's Coffee to Go. Took my time as it is a good
atmosphere and fast wifi.
Just as I was going to catch the tram the others came back,
including Annie from Singapore.
After they had dumped their conference stuff we headed into
the Amsterdam Museum, which was good. Lunch was
chicken salad at Hungry Jacks. They then left and I looked around the
city some more, but it wasn't that nice as it was raining. So back to
motel for a rest. Wendy was busy with a committee meeting that night so I
was off on my own. Caught a tram into the city then changed to one
heading out to the museum quarter but it started raining so I stayed on the
tram till the end, a huge central medical facility for Northern Holland.
Picked up some salad, blueberries and yoghurt (for dressing
& desert) and had dinner in the room. Very nice and healthy too.
Wendy got back to the room about 11:30pm.
