DAY 30: FRI 21 SEP - KLEVE

Rest day

Fine, partly cloudy, 6-17deg

Got up late for us, 6:30am, and had a leisurely breakfast.  The lady doing breakfast could not speak one word of English, which was unusual.  The fair was ok but not flash.      

We had a good walk around, did the cathedral, the same religious order as Kalkar, St. Nicolai, and the Castle Tower which cost 2euro each but gave good views over the region and into Holland. Some interesting displays on the various platforms on the way up also, mammoths, rocks, geology, etc.  

Had a nice bratwurst for lunch.  Did some work on the iPad ref the route for the next day and then had a rest.
