DAY 40: MON 1 OCT - AMSTERDAM

Grey sky, showers 8-14deg.   

No breakfast with the room despite it being a rip-off price of A$180 per night.  And the wifi was very poor, slow and often dropped out.  I gave it a big serve when I reviewed it on Expedia, where Wendy had booked it.     

Wens, Jane and Sylvain went off on a day bus tour which I didn't think was relevant to me.   I wanted to get back on the bike and explore the outskirts of Amsterdam.   However when I did I nearly froze to death as it was so cold with a very cutting wind.  Returned to the motel and defrosted.   Met Wens off the tram about 5pm.  Showered and went out to dinner at the Turkish / Italian restaurant around the corner from the motel.  I had steak Wendy had lamb and we swapped half; very nice.  Then back to bed as everyone was tired.  

Cannabis chocolate or lolly anyone??
