DAY 36: THU 27 SEP - THE HAGUE

Ride: 50km; total: 1,665km
Showers off and on all day, dull, grey skies, 11-16deg

Lovely breakfast (and early 6:30am) of everything you'd expect in a big motel chain like Ibis, particularly like their little sausages with fresh cooked mushrooms.  Gleaned an apple and some little sausages for lunch.

Got the bike out of the garage and headed out on a scenic cycle route and ended up at Wassenaar, about 20km north east.    Great little village and some enchanting cottages and grand mansions on the way.

The Hague beach was just a busy harbour, very dull, wet and grey.  So I headed back to the motel followed by the rain.  Later explored a fresh food market near the city centre, although I eat very little cheese I love looking at their cheese shops and stalls within markets.

A cute cottage in the forest near The Hague
